The Problem

With rapid process change and short term job assignments becoming the norm, managers and team leads are faced with an ongoing challenge of pulling together, motivating, and coordinating work groups made up of people from different functional areas and organizational cultures. PersonaMap® Training

The purpose of this one-day performance-based training is to provide managers, professionals and lead employees with a reliable, well-structured skill that increases their abilities in reading personality type, evaluating information and knowledge work styles, and designing and coordinating jobs and assignments for work teams.

The PersonaMap® skill uses a highly-structured, reliable model of personality type and individual and collective learning processes, expressed in a way that is easy to remember and apply. It is based on widely-accepted human psychological models, combined with techniques for observing the reality of these models and taking actions with respect to them in everyday situations. The method is designed with early rewards to encourage internalization of the knowledge of personality types and group processes. Guidelines are provided for strengthening the skill through broad application in daily instances of learning, communication, and coordination.

PersonaMap® Training is delivered in a one day class, supported by a reference guide/student workbook. The exercise sequence takes the students from understanding their own personality type through evaluating those of classmates, to simulations and diagnosis of team performance in knowledge work/information building scenarios.
